Long Day

Gentle reader, please keep my Zush in your thoughts and prayers.

She is hanging in there, but I can see the changes starting to come up, which just make me sad, and I’m sure it makes Jim equally as sad.She is just as good as she normally is, but a few little things are making me pray extra hard for her. It’s funny, because I just keep getting up one day at a time, putting two feet on the floor while she puts her four paws down, as does her sister.I think they read off of their “pack” and Zush knows we love each other every day. She tires out, although I try not to walk her too much, but some days I think maybe it’s just the winter weather making her hurt as I do.

Her cataracts in her eyes are starting to come into play: they aren’t totally blocking her vision but you can tell she isn’t seeing as she used to. Then again, neither am I.
