Here we go again.
I have not been feeling well for a while.
I have some issues percolating, and am bothering my GI’s office trying to get my appointment moved up.I told them how bad I felt and the bast they could offer my was May 30th.
Hello, Emergency Room? That’s what it’ll be if I get another attack and can’t be seen earlier.
In the meanwhile, I managed to comedown with severe chest congestion over Easter. With the internet being a blessing or curse, I figured out I might have pneumonia or severe bronchitis. Hah! I had an appointment this morning with a new Internist who said, basically, my lungs are congested but my sinuses are pretty well screwed up? Excuse me? I have a cough that sounds like I smoked a pack of Pall Malls daily for 58 years, and only had sinus symptoms last night and this is the diagnosis?
**Shaking my head**
I realize I don’t have a medical degree, but I think I know my body. I am hoping that the combination of prescriptions will work their magic. If not, well…stay tuned!
This morning the girls and I went for our walk and to say it’s humid out down here today is an understatement. I think the three of us came back dripping in sweat, that is, if dogs can drip in sweat. Based on the tongues hanging out of their mouths, and the drool that accompanied it, I think they would concur.
It’s weird because the houses have trash cans out front where people are already raking dead leaves up and other forestry type trash, and yet the temperature seems to contradict the day. It feels more like August 20th than September 20th.
So it’s off to work for me today, the purgatory shift of 10-6. I’m sweating now, and will go in and freeze because the air conditioning is tweaked up.
Mother nature is giving me a break.
If you have been following this blog with any regularity, you know I have been trying to do fitbit zip version walking daily since Halloween.I really have been getting into it, especially since I have seen eighteen pounds disappear since then.
Tomorrow, here at Undisclosed, it’s due to be cold. Not quite Wisconsin cold, but cold none the less. The girls will have to go out, but not as far as we have been.I will be bundling up, but as a sent a quick message to my friend and sister KJ earlier today, God wants me fit, not with pneumonia.
As it would only be day three of retirement, I think a little down time will be in order, and as Zush’s surgery is scheduled for Thursday morning, well, I will try to get some quiet one on one time with her.She is getting a ruptured cyst off of her left rear leg.Any prayers or good mojo that you can send for her would greatly appreciated.
