Well, I am going to try to get a little pool time in today because the B&B is back in business till the end of the month.
This time I am going with my neighbor to another neighbor’s pool for a few hours.I started the company clean up yesterday with linens and bathrooms and such. Now to sign off, because the girls need their lunch and a walk.
Stay cool, friends.
I was off this morning so I had a chance to sleep in a little which was great.
Jim made a fresh vegetable and fruit juice which we had with poached eggs and rye toast, or at least I had the eggs and toast.
We went on the road and took the girls with us for a good hike back at Ponderlodge, the walking/nature area by us, and then went to our annual trek to buy mums. It was a great afternoon except for one thing…we got hungry. We had a coupon from McDonald’s for a free medium soda and fries when you buy a new buttermilk chicken sandwich.
We got junk for lunch….
There is always room for a healthy dinner.
When I went into work on Tuesday, I went into my emptied cubicle.
I went to my computer, pulled a picture up, printed it up on the printer, and hung it on the outside of my cubicle wall.I wrote one statement on it.
**it was a picture of the Cape May Lighthouse.**
A few, and by that I mean only twice did I shed a little tear during the day because saying good-bye is always bittersweet. I had lunch with two of my “besties”, Elaine and Denise and had a fabulous time. After quitting time, I met with my friends Ed, Mark, Jon and Margaret, and we laughed over drinks.
It was a good day.The memories will always be with me.
