I have been going full speed as a fourth grade teacher assistant.
I can safely say I have never been so exhausted in my life.
Special education classes, self-contained classes. lunchtime monitoring, first line disciplinarian, playing no favorites…whew! I’m beat.
Let’s not forget that this time of the year has testing and then some.Coverage for other teachers? Check on that. Meeting my new bunch of fourth graders who call me Mrs. C.
I can honestly say that with the exception of caring for Zosia and Kasia, it’s the most rewarding job I ever had!
The weather has brought an old buddy back into my life: sinusitis.
The pressure in my head is overwhelming, so between last night’s sporadic( at best) sleep and the 25 pounds in my forehead, I am going to make this brief and then off to bed.
Jim and I went over to see his Mom tonight, something we should be doing more often as she’s 95 years old. We enjoyed her company and also hanging with his sister Kathy.
Now we are back, and off to bed!
Well, after having a relatively calm couple of months, my summer has been contaminated.
The post-nasal drip hack has returned. Nothing like hearing your once quiet lungs start wheeze. I guess I have summer allergies to thank for that.
Good night folks.
