This morning I met up with my buddy, Duch, who was in area. We settled up for Girl Scout cookies and she had a gift for my 💔heart…
She has my Zush’s image made on a pillow. Even Jim couldn’t get over how real she seemed to be on the pillow.
So between Zush’s foster Mom, making Zush socks for me, my buddy Juls keeping Zush going for me in Birthday gifts, and my Duch finally getting Zush on the sofa, well… I 💚you guys!
So when you think things are really low, little surprises pop up to change your day.
My nephew Greg is here for a much anticipated visit. It actually is nice to have my family here for once. We played Monopoly and went walking with the girls.
When we had come in, there were some parcels delivered. One was an early gift from my friend Duch. It was something to help me keep things in perspective-a red baseball hat with a dog on it and it says “Tail Therapy.”
Then I got two great cards from my bud Juls- one for my birthday which was so lovely and a barking card for Christmas! It was nice to feel loved.
Appreciation is highly underrated.
With the help of my nephew, Greg, I managed to bring in some brownie cupcakes I made for co-workers today, because doesn’t chocolate work?
I am missing Mom and Dad today, who were my first Valentines. I still feel their love every day.
Happy Valentine’s day birthday to my retired pal, Duch, who I hope is having a helluva good first birthday away from the”home”.
I am lucky to have my two furry Valentine children, and of course, my one and only Valentine, Shingleman!
And you, my reader?
Happy Valentine’s day! Thanks for being here reading this. You guys are my daily Valentine!
