It would seem that I spent a good part of last week holding Kleenex to little boys noses asking them to blow their noses .
So?Since Saturday I have a raspy voice and a hacking cough.
Classroom life…the saga continues.
I tripled the biscotti dough to make enough for everyone. They just came out of the oven now. I found a big Tupperware container to store them in, although by the time I distribute them, I might need a smaller container.
Enjoy your weekend!
We have had a busy Saturday so far.
You know it’s kind of busy when, by 5:45PM, I have 11,000+ steps on the Fit Bit and synched it early due to our “date night”.The girls and I have been out for a few miles walking today. Jim joined us for one of the walks, so that was nice, as usually it’s just me and the girls. We managed to get a quick stop in at CVS and stopped to see my buddy Linda and her family. It was good because we haven’t seen Duch in a while and I got to meet her youngest granddaughter, Emily.
Now we are back in, trying to woof down some dinner, and get ready for our Diana Krall concert in Atlantic City tonight. The girls are walked, we’re almost ready to go…
Stay warm, friends!
The lack of sleep we had on Sunday night/Monday morning has still not released me from its’ grip…that really stinks!
The weather has decided to go back to summer, so of course the humidity adds with wearing us all down, and what’s funny is that even going to bed early, well, it’s like I always say: “I’ll never get that time back again.” We keep kicking though, and can not wait until the end of the week when we get a chance to decompress.
What time I do have free during this week, though, I am getting ready to have my nephew Matt and Kat, his wife, down to Undisclosed Deux. They had been down once in the old house, and we are really looking forward to seeing them this weekend. It’s amazing when you think you have a stocked up house, looking at it with a visitor’s eye, well, it’s lie, whoa…major shopping to do.
Here’s hoping you all have a good week. As for us? We’re going to sleep!**wink**
Everyone managed to get through last weekend with out me.
My furniture was delivered and lawn was worked on and, sad to say, I wasn’t there to see it. I
intend to make up for it this weekend because Jim and I both have friday off.It is quite a
dreary Tuesday and we are glad, as the new lawn certainly needs the rain. It would be nice to see
some ground cover when we make it down.
I have two new ferns, along with the hydrangea that I get to plant this weekend. I am itching to
start my brand new garden. The kitchen is calling me and I am ready to do some “relaxed” cooking.
Is it Thursday yet?
The best part about long weekends is when they are unexpected.
The office has been closed for two days and it is President’s weekend. It is really crazy, because, for me, it is like gold falling from the sky.
We are hanging out with our buddies, catching up after almost a year of not catching up in person-much too long! It has the promise of being an awesome weekend!
If you have the gift of a three-day weekend, enjoy it.Just a regular two-day? Enjoy that too! Relax…life is too short.
