Yesterday’s bug bites have really made me crazy.
Witch hazel has fallen by the wayside, and I even threw alcohol on it through last night. Today has me going for bigger guns: clear Calydryl on my leg, and I have a sneaking suspicion I’ll probably have to take a Benedryl before bed tonight.
What is really weird is I seem to be courting a rash on my leg. I am pretty sure there’s no poison ivy, but I probably will spend some time on Web M.D. tonight.
Hope I won’t be sorry to surf the web, but hey… beats Urgent Care.
There is nothing like a weekend when you and your spouse are ill.
You never knew that you could possibly sleep as long as you do, and yet, you are literally down for the count, as it were. Then you have the question of what to eat. Our friend recommended more chicken soup, which there for a while, was a question if we ate it, could we keep it…hah, as if…
Our four-legged children are quite understanding getting out whenever we can get them out, and sleeping when we seem to either go down or nap.
The doctor’s office informed us that the waiting room was full of lower gastrointestinal and upper respiratory bugged folks. They kindly reinforced what we officially should do….
..if we only didn’t feel as though we were hit by a truck.
The bug has made its’ way here.
Not for the four-legged members, but for us..**sigh**
It has been a really long week-long enough that if I am not feeling better, I
might have to sit home this weekend, eating jello and saltines.I know we promised
to share, in a matter of speaking, when we got married, but hey now…
Hell of a diet, eh?
Today is day number four.
Jim and I have been fighting a bug for a few days. Headache , GI issues, and I went to an upper respiratory issue.
Yes we are juicing: well, we were until we caught the bug. We hope to go right back to it, but for now, we have been working to get back on our feet. Personally, this hacking makes me nuts.
The girls have been good during this, but hey, we are trying to work to get us going.
I’m hoping to get us back on our feet soon!
Ten years with my Shingleman…I can’t remember life without him.
Above mentioned anniversary, which pushed me to take my first 9 day vacation in ten years…I don’t know hot to behave.
Two crazy fur girls who love the water as much as I do, even though I am going to have to give them a bath tomorrow.
The coming of fall and good-bye to mosquitoes.
One of my BFF, Juls, has successful surgery on her shoulder today-thanks for your prayers, folks.
Have a wonderful weekend !!!!
For my girls, Zosia and Kasia, I need it a wee bit colder…to kill the bugs!
A lot of dogs have been suffering because of the rainy August and September and the bugs that just won’t die. We have gone through courses of flea poison( i.e.,Frontline, advantage, etc) courses of steroid for itching, topical sprays to try to make them more comfortable. I even started them both this past week on Benadryl. Zush, as rule, turns puppy in the cooler weather. She is like me,in that we both hate to sweat. Kasia, at two, is still a puppy so it does tickle me to see them both enjoying the cooler weather. Now only if mother nature would cooperate and freeze the damn bugs out, we’d be a happy family!
