Hootenanny

Mike our neighbor is over.

We are listening to You Tube, Jim is playing his guitar and we are singing songs of our youth.

**the two shots of whiskey I have taken are the best cough medicine to listen and sing along with.**

It’s good to kick back, and the fur children always enjoy Daddy playing music.

Life is good!

Back to our spot

Finally made it back to the undisclosed location ,and the weekend went by too fast: don’t they all?

Shingleman just serenaded me through the screen on the accoustic guitar, the friends I have here had me back on the weekend walk, for which I am thankful , and Zush and Kasia got their walks and joined me in the peace and quiet. We dodged some of the heat, and all that’s left to conquer is traffic!

It’s good to be back!

Status of ths Shingle-man

Here is a shot of Shingle-man, aka, my Jim, who was playing guitar last night when his Mom and sister were over to pay us a visit. They figured since he is past the contagious stage, it was worth the trip. It was really funny because although he was not quite as miserable as he has been, they could see the difference in him was the medicine was kicking in. We both were sleepy, and we are not talking midnight, here, folks, we are talking 8P.M. My Kasia is sitting by her boyfriend, Daddy, waiting patiently for Mom to take her and Zush out for a walk.

We are leaving mid-day for the ‘Undisclosed Location”, as our feeling is it is just as easy to feel lousy there, but there is something about being out of the city that makes it all a little better.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Second Time thru…

Out here in “Undisclosed location central”,there is this rocking quartet acoustic guitar group called SECOND TIME THRU…this is how we started the new year. When you first saw them, I laughed to my friend Tim and said look at the geriatric roadies**note-they are a little older than me** and then, it turned out they were the band. Let me just say that I never stopped bopping with the titanium knees because the music was really good. The only depressing thing is that they played music from the seventies and eighties and they called it the oldies…lol…**once again embracing the over 50 in me**.

Happy 2012!

Rock on! 😉
