Flower Power

Couldn’t help myself, but bought two lipstick red poinsettia plants for my kitchen windows. December baby that I am, they were calling my name,

I also picked up a baby Christmas cactus to give it a go.For now, it’s in the side kitchen window, but will soon be put in our bay bedroom window with its’ big sister.

It’s my homage to the holiday, and without my Zushie here, it’s as good as it’s going to get. I do have a few baby Jesus figurines I put up with Zush, but that’s it. It’s sad how greatly you feel loss as you get older.

Oh well. We just keep on keeping on.
